4.02 Venue

The Venue module lets you manage all the venues monitored by the sensor / Wi-Fi access point.

 

Component Meaning
Venue Name The venue of the sensor installed in.
Company The company that sensor belong to.
Type The type of sensor device,
(E.g. : Wifi access point, Cloud beacon, etc).
Level Venue type as per define in venue setup.
Zone Zone if any the venue is located.
Address The Address of the venue.
Dev type Device type.
RSSI min The Min RSSI parameter set for the sensor.
RSSI max The Max RSSI parameter set for sensor to capture data.
Dwell The time set that constitute user as engaged for the sensor.
Exit time The time set that constitute user whether user still active or not.The user that not longer detected within exit time will marked as user who already exit.
ACT Edit or delete the sensor and its venue.

 

Manage Venue

To add a new venue, click on the “+ Add New Venue” button. Fill in the venue name with the name of your venue and proceed to select the venue type.

For force exit users need to select between time and number of second, then the new field will appear for users to fill in the value.

Component Meaning
Venue Name The venue the sensor will be assigned to.
Venue Type Three type of venue :

Mall : If this venue is part of a mall.

Outlet : If this is outlet within a mall or shop.

Zone : if this venue is a zone, which consist multi-sensor.

Sensor Type The device type for the sensor.
Signal Strength the signal strength slider is used to manipulate DBM of the device, example if -85 dbm to -25 dbm (lower dbm is nearer to sensor), we ignore any device that is more than -85 dbm and user with dbm -25 and below are classified as visit type users.
Dwell The dwell slider is used to determine how long a user stayed in the venue constitute as engaged users. In a fast food industry we may set the dwell to be 3 minute as the user typically stay more than 3 minutes nearby a sensor, however in a museum venue we may set the dwell time to be higher as a longer dwell time constitutes user interacting with the exhibit.
Exit time The time set that constitute user whether user still active or not.The user that not longer detected within exit time will marked as user who already exit.
