The cloud NAS module will list all NAS added within your platform. It will list all the associated NAS with the tenant cloud ID within the system.

Warning : Editing this NAS configuration in this screen will reset the superuser login session cloud id to the edited cloud ID, please re-login to gain back assigned cloud ID.

 

The listed fields and its meaning are:

Field Meaning & Function
NAS ID  The id of the NAS equipment.
IP Addr The unique IP Address of the NAS/device.
Type Model of the NAS equipment (eg. Mikrotik, Aruba)
Location Location of NAS equipment
Description Remark or description of NAS equipment
Cloud ID A unique cloud id of the superuser/tenant.
Action Edit or delete the account

Click Add New NAS to create a new NAS and populate the required fields.

The field and its function description is listed below:

Field Meaning & Function
Cloud ID  A unique cloud id of the superuser/tenant.
Device Type Model of the NAS equipment (eg. Mikrotik, Aruba)
NAS ID A unique identity of the NAS.
IP Address The unique IP Address of the NAS/device.
Shared Secret Key The Secret password that the NAS will use to communicate with Kiwire™.
COA Port The change of authority (COA) listening port of the NAS device, this is use for sending disconnect user command or change profile on the fly for user. Default port is 3799.
NAS Username The username of the NAS.
NAS Password The security password for the NAS
Address Location of NAS equipment
Description Remark or description of NAS equipment

Import NAS

Kiwire™ NAS module also come with add nas device in bulk function, which provide you capability to add hundred or thousand of NAS devices at one go. To access it click on the “Import NAS” button. The import NAS from CSV file screen will be displayed.

 

Please download the sample CSV file template via “Click here to download sample template” link, a sample CSV file will be available for download, fill up the CSV file with your spreadsheet editor upload back to the Import NAS function.
