The Login Engine module let you manage the Login template and functionality of login pages for captive portal
4.1 T&C Setting
The T&C ( Term & Condition ) module let you set your organization own term & condition. for legal aspect. use the editor to type in your term & conditions.
4.2 Login Template
Kiwire™ uses login template for the Login page , you can be choose the theme for the login page. Update the slider/Ads that will appear (depend on template selected) and using template box, where you can type message to be announce to user on the login page.
4.3 Pre Login Page Configuration
The Prelogin page module let you configure the experience of user connect to the network. you can choose a few journey for the user.
|Pre Login Behaviour||
|Redirect URL||The URL user will be sent to if Pre-Login behaviour is set to Redirect to URL.|
4.4 Login Page
|Page Name||A unique name for the page|
|ByPass via Autlogin||A bypass page that use a predefine username and password . this will disable the captive portal login|
|Simple Login page only||A simple login page that prompt for username and password|
|Autologin page||Autologin using a predefined username and password , user just need to click on the “continue” button to login, this is use in conjunction with VLAN configuration|
|Term & Condition -> Login Page||Term & Condition page follow by simple login page before allowed to access internet|
|Term & Condition -> Autologin||Term & Condition page follow by Auto login|
|Term & Condition – >Login Page Buy Package||Term & Condition page follow simple login page follow then to a Buy package/plan selection screen.
For the list of plan available for the plan to purchase select from the Plan option from available to Active column .
|Term & Condition -> Autologin -> Buy Package||Term & Condition page follow by Autologin then a Buy package/plan selection screen.

|Social Login||A Social login screen , that let user login using their social login credential. please setup Kiwire™ Social Auth|
|Social Login + Simple login||A Social login screen , that let user login using their social login credential or using simple login . please setup Kiwire™ Social Auth|
|Prepaid access Login||A voucher/prepaid access code screen, user just need to login using the prepaid account name, for security please configure Prepaid to use random as prefix|
|Term & Condition – > Prepaid access Login||Term & Condition page follow by A voucher/prepaid access code screen, user just need to login using the prepaid account name user to connect to network|
|Remark||Remark for the login page|
|Plan||Plan is used for Page type : buy package, where user can select the plan they wish to purchase.
Available : Plan that is available for selection
Active : Selected plan associated for the login page.
click on the “” star icon to set the page as default in the page listing
*Note : if no login page is define , the system will default “Simple login page only”
4.5 Sign Up Page
4.5.1 Visitor Sign Up Page
The Visitor self sign up page let your guest or visitor self register for network access. An email will be send to sponsor to let sponsor to agree for user to login to network.
|Allowed Sponsor e-mail domain||The domain name of your organization , this is to verify the if the sponsor is an valid email within your organization.
eg if sponsor domain is set to domain.com the visitor/guest must use an email from firstname.lastname@example.org as its sponsor request, any unknown user will be rejected.
|Link with plan||The plan associated with the user when they login to network|
|Validity||validity in days for the account to be valid|
|Prefix||Account prefix for the username created|
|Apply Vlan Restriction||Select none if guest is allowed to login from anywhere or you can restrict to specific vlan under vlan permission|
4.5.2 Sign Up data field.
The sign up datafield , let you create datafield that user need to fill in before allow them to access the network. this is useful for information gathering from the guest. eg you may want them to fill in their email , phone no and purpose of the meeting
A unique field name, no space is allowed for the field name eg : meeting_room_name
|Field Display||A user friendly text to represent the Field
Eg: Meeting Room name
|Field Required||Set it to be compulsory or not for user to fill in the field|
4.6 Post Login Page Configuration
The post login page module let you configure the experience of user login to the network. you can either set “user continue to their default destination” which let user continue from where they intent to go or redirect them to a specific web site .

|Redirect URL||Url user will be send to if Pre Login Behaviour is set to Redirect to url.|
4.7 VLAN Zone Setting
Kiwire™ let you create IEEE 802.1Q VLAN and assign the login page or predefined user to be associate with the VLAN (to be used for autologin function), it also let you assign unique welcome message and picture to the specific VLAN page. VLAN listing will list all VLAN added to the system.
|New/edit VLAN ID||VLAN ID a numeric value based on your network vlan id created|
|VLAN Zone||The Name given to the VLAN zone, e.g. Wi-Fi|
|Link to user||Link to a specific user, if login template selected type is autologin,
it will use this user to automatically login to system
|Link to Page||Link to specific template/login page|
|Vlan Zone Message||Welcome message that will be display on the vlan zone login screen|
|Vlan Zone Image||Image or promotion image that will be display on the vlan zone login screen|
4.8 Notification Text
Notification text module let you customized the system notification message for the user.
*Note / Tips , if you wish to disable a selective module , e.g. Not allowed Mac Address device , just leave the text blank and the module will be disabled or bypass by system.
